Meet Shanterra, a wife and mother to 3 beautiful creations and an associate Pastor at Rock Hope Fellowship in Rochester, Ny, with over 16 years of experience in the non-profit industry and eight years of experience in upper and executive leadership. She is a forever educator and is currently the Director of Rochester Programs for The Center for Teen Empowerment.

As an educator and director, Shanterra has empowered young men and women to utilize their voices to create peace, equity, and justice in their communities and has helped to implement systems and training to help develop young staff transitioning into adult careers.

In her career, she noticed when she sat at leadership tables, she was not only the only person of color in some of these rooms but often times the only woman. Frustrated by the exclusion of women in leadership positions within organizations, she decided to establish the MC Collective to help women create spaces for themselves where they are valued and appreciated..

Shanterra's expertise lies in utilizing the MC Collective Roadmap and model to guide individuals through identifying their strengths, passions, and goals and developing a plan to achieve them. Her coaching style is collaborative and empowering. She is committed to providing her clients with the tools, resources, support, and accountability they need to begin the Journey to a better life.
